Are your diamonds real?

Yes. We offer three categories of genuine stones:

- **Natural diamonds** - mined from the earth, GIA or IGI certified.
- **Lab-grown diamonds** - chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, grown in a controlled environment, IGI certified. Typically 50–70% less expensive for the same quality.
- **Moissanite** - a distinct gemstone (silicon carbide) with exceptional brilliance. Not a diamond, but a beautiful, durable alternative at a fraction of the cost.

Every diamond we sell comes with a GIA or IGI certificate. You can verify your stone's grading report independently at any time.

Question 2

What's the difference between lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds?

Accepted Answer

Chemically, physically, and optically: **nothing**. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds - same carbon structure, same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), same fire and brilliance. The only difference is origin: one formed underground over billions of years, the other in a lab over weeks.

Lab-grown diamonds are not simulants. They are not cubic zirconia. They are not moissanite. **They are diamonds.**

The practical difference: lab-grown diamonds cost significantly less for the same size and quality - which means you can get a larger or higher-quality stone for the same budget.

What's the difference between lab-grown diamonds and moissanite?

Accepted Answer

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds (carbon). Moissanite is silicon carbide - a different gemstone entirely. Moissanite has slightly more fire (rainbow sparkle) than a diamond and is extremely durable (9.25 on the Mohs scale). It's a beautiful choice for buyers who want maximum brilliance at a lower price point.

What do "Premium" and "Exceptional" mean?

These are our internal quality tiers for lab-grown diamonds:

- **Premium:** Excellent cut, strong color and clarity grades. Beautiful, well-priced.
- **Exceptional:** D color, VVS1 or VVS2 clarity, Excellent cut. The top of the lab-grown market - indistinguishable from the finest natural diamonds under any grading standard.

Both come with IGI certification.

Question 5

Does my ring come with a certificate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every diamond ring comes with an IGI or GIA grading certificate.
If your ring has arrived and you haven't received the certificate after 2 weeks, contact us and we'll track it down immediately.

Question 6

Can I see the actual diamond certificate before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, ask your sales rep and we'll share the certificate for the specific stone being set in your ring.
