Halloween

The children dress up and g door to door begging sweets, and adults find themselves celebrating at costume parties. All in good fun.

What kind of gifts can you exchange on this day? Every year on the same day no matter what day of the week it falls, traditionalists celebrate Halloween Day on October 31st. Parties starting early in the day are extended into the evening when children dress up and knock on neighbor’s doors for Trick or Treat. It’s always treats, though.

Candy and fall themed food items are exchanged amongst friends. Bring out the pumpkin pies. Decorative pumpkins to dominate the front of a house and also to carve into jack-o-lanterns will be gladly received. Adults may opt for liquor or wine or even treating each other to a scary movie—at home or in the theatre. Can you give jewelry? Well, sure! Is there ever a bad time to give jewelry? Black and orange are the themes to look for. Black diamonds, spinel, black onyx are good stones to consider. Orange garnet, orange citrine, fire opal, plus orange garnets or orange sapphires will be never-forget-this Halloween for sure!
